BMW launched its sports-car Z4 Roadster

BMW launched its sports-car Z4 RoadsterBMW the German luxury car maker today launched its sports-car BMW Z4 Roadster priced at Rs 59 lakh. The two-seater sports-car is powered with a 2,979 cc petrol engine which has being launched as a part of the company's move to strengthen its position in the Indian luxury car segment.

BMW India President Peter Kronschnabl told that the company is targeting to sell 30-40 units of the BMW Z4 Roadster in the first year. Currently the company is all set to compete with rival German luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz for the top slot in the Indian luxury-car market.

BMW to launch 5 series GT at Delhi Auto ExpoThe German auto maker BMW is all set to unveil its new vehicle 5 series Gran Turismo (GT) at the forthcoming Auto Expo 2010. The company intends to launch this vehicle in both petrol and diesel engine this year. Initially, only 100 units of the vehicle will be available for sale in India. The unique features of the class one vehicle are: enough space, estate like exteriors and body, better ground clearance. The vehicle will be equipped with 400 bhp,twin-turbo direct injected 4.4 litre V8 550i GT.

It has young and sporty design which awakens the enthusiasm for driving.

BMW Pavilion at Auto ExpoBMW fired big guns at the Auto Expo 2010 with its pavilion shining great in Hall No- 09 along with the pavilion of Bosch in the same zone. The major highlights of the Pavilion were the exciting launches and display of some much-awaited and much-anticipated Cars. For the enthusiastic and anticipating crowd of general visitors, Business representatives, people from media, BMW's reception at the pavilion had a good amount of information displayed in form of brochures, press releases and verbal information dissipated through their representatives and executives.

Female models deployed to pose along with the cars displayed, actually had tremendous know-how about the technical specifications of the Cars, guiding the general visitors. There was also a well furnished cafe for refreshments built adjacent to the pavilion. The Cars displayed on a rotating dais, stupendous lighting, beautiful models posing with a smile, informed representatives helping visitors etc, made BMW's pavilion attract attention at full spree.
