New BMW M5 USA E28 1986-1988 Cars wallpapers and specification
The second generation of BMW 5 Series was introduced in 1982 as the BMW E28. The bimmer e28 replaced its predecessor, the bimmer e12. The BMW e28 was the first generation of bimmer 5 series to offer the M5. The American market went crazy with the arrival of the first e28 M5�s. Finally a full size daily driver, with exotic car horsepower, was available to the U.S. market.
The U.S. version of the M5 was packing 256 hp, while the European models had 286 hp. Many people got around the HP difference by taking of the catalytic converter. Six models of the BMW e28 were sold in the United States, including the BMW M5

New BMW M5 Sedan E34 1988-1994 Cars wallpapers and specification
The E34 5 series was introduced in 1988. It was available as 4 door sedan.There were five models available: 520i, 525i, 530i, 535i and 524td. All models received the engines frome the old E28 5 series. Only the 528i was replaced with a 530i wich had 188 HP. The 525i received the six cylinder from the 325i so it now had 170 HP.
In 1989 the 518i with a four cylinder engine was introduced. This model had the M40 engine from the E30 3 series wich had 113 HP. In 1990 a new 24 valve six cylinder engine was introduced. The 530i went out of production so only the 520i and 525i received this engine. In 1991 the 524td was replaced with
a 525tds.
